1st Pattaya International Pigeon Race at Royal Cliff Hotels

Pattaya (Thailand) – February 14, 2017 (travelindex) – The Racing Pigeon International Association (RPIA) recently held the royal trophy ceremony and the bidding session of the 1st Pattaya International Pigeon Race (PIPR) at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group.

The first 330 kilometer race was launched on the 9th of December 2016 at Nakhon Ratchasima. The competition included races covering a distance of 430 and 530 kilometers, where the pigeons were released from Khon Kaen and Udon Thani and the race finished in Pattaya.

The competition has drawn attention from more than 200 pigeon fanciers from 10 nations across Asia, Middle East, Europe and Thailand including Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, the CEO and Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group, who joined the event.
